With the completion of the Brexit process by the UK on January 1, 2021, the export of cosmetic products and product notification/registration procedures were arranged according to the new system. 

Previously, product registration was done through CPNP, with the new regulations, product registration has started to be done through the Submit Cosmetic Portal Notification (SCPN) portal provided by the Product Safety and Standards Office (OPSS) of the Great Britain (GB) Government.

According to the latest regulations, the information that should be reported to the Product Safety and Standards Office (OPSS) while registering for Submit Cosmetic Portal Notification (SCPN) is arranged as follows;

• Name, category and description of the cosmetic product,
• Responsible Person (RP)* information,
• The address where the product information file is kept,
• Contact information of the real person to be contacted in case of emergency
• Frame formulation,
• Nanomaterial substance content definition and details,
• Identification of substances classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for reproduction (CMR) in category 1A or 1B,
• Photograph of the original label and associated packaging.
