Certain requirements must be met before a cosmetic product can be put on the market in Europe and the UK. One of these requirements is the assignment of a Responsible Person. We can briefly summarize the duties of the Responsible Person as follows:

• It registers your products to the CPNP system, which is the first condition for exporting your products to Europe.
• The products have their name and contact information on them.
• When necessary, the first person to be contacted by the legal authorities is the Responsible Person.
• It is obliged to inform you of all developments and legal revisions.
• Your Product Information Files are the responsibility of the Responsible Person.
• Responsible Person does the recall and collection for your products.
