NATURAL SUN PROTECTIVE OILS

When it comes to summer and increasing temperatures, protecting the skin against the harmful rays of the sun should be our top priority. In addition to many broad-spectrum protective products, there are also different solutions that can be used when the sun rays are normal, have natural protection factors and can care for the skin at the same time.

With natural protective oils that you can apply when the sun is not too hot, you can support your drying and dehydrated body and preserve your beauty despite the harsh conditions of summer. A truly beautiful appearance is possible with consciously applied regular maintenance. If you adopt natural sunscreen oils as a supportive care that will help protect your skin from the harmful effects of sun rays, then we can run towards the right goal together.

The only thing you should remember is that oils have supportive properties. You should only use it as care during hours when the sun rays are not intense and when you will not stay for a long time. I hope you heed my warnings and invite you to meet the guardians

Carrot oil: It is a natural protector that creates a perfect protective shield on the skin when diluted with a carrier oil. The oil, which has a dense consistency, protects the skin in a healthy way and also gives a pleasant tan. It creates an excellent protection shield with its supportive properties in the treatment of burns. It is very rich in vitamin A and carotene, moisturizes and nourishes the skin.

Raspberry oil: Naturally protective oils can only protect you against UVB rays. In contrast, red raspberry oil has the power to counteract both UVA and UVB rays. It is frequently used in protective cosmetic products and claims to be as effective as 'titanium dioxide', which protects the body by reflecting sunlight back.

With the essential fatty acids and antioxidants it contains, it moisturizes your body while protecting it from harmful rays. It is also popular for its healing effects on skin diseases such as eczema and psoriasis.

Wheat oil: Easy to apply, wheat oil is another natural protective oil. It contains vitamin E, is a powerful antioxidant and is frequently used in cosmetic products to combat blemishes.

Although there are some studies on the SPF protection values of these powerful sunscreen oils I mentioned above, the SPF values in question are quite high. However, I did not mention the scientific articles proving these high SPF factors here because I believe that they are not sufficient in number.

Some oils that provide skin care with proven SPF values and an SPF factor of 1-10 include olive oil and coconut oil with an SPF factor of 7.5.

Among other natural sunscreens whose SPF factor varies between 1-5; almond, sesame, jojoba and lavender oil.

Reminder about SPF factor

I find that the meaning of SPF factor is often misperceived as protection factor. 'SPF (Sun Protection Factor)' is translated into our language as 'sun protection factor', but its main purpose is a measure that shows how long it lasts before you start to blush under the sun. For example, if you turn pink and red in the sun in 15 minutes without SPF protection, this time will extend to 150 minutes with SPF 10 (sunscreen containing factor 10). When choosing your sunscreen products, you can be selective about the products by remembering the natural ones and protect your skin with the power of knowledge and the help of cosmetic products.
