Fractional Laser and Its Uses

When smooth skin and a bright face are the cornerstones of a beautiful appearance, our ears, which are guests of many alternative treatments and application methods, are uncertain about which treatment will provide what kind of benefits to the skin. For this reason, let's take a closer look at the fractional laser, which is among the newest and most effective processes of recent years and attracts attention due to its wide application areas.

What is fractional laser?

It is a laser system developed to renew the collagen and epithelial tissue in the skin. By throwing 169 micron-diameter laser beams at the same time and reaching the skin, it provides skin regeneration by making heat damage to the lower skin without making much change in the upper skin. It acts on the skin with a controlled damage mechanism. In other words, it creates small burns of micron diameter, which are not visible from the outside. However, large areas of intact skin around these burns, which are created in a controlled manner, take action to heal the burned areas, initiate the skin regeneration process and show its effect on the skin in this way.

In what situations is it preferred?

It is preferred for skin rejuvenation, tightening pores, increasing skin tension and spot treatment. It is also very effective in the treatment of deep acne scars, surgery and scars and stretch marks.

Is pain felt in the application?

During the application, patients may not feel intense pain, but may feel minor burning. In order to prevent this discomfort, anesthetic effective numbing cream is applied 40-50 minutes before the procedure.

In addition, tools blowing cold air are used during the process. In this way, any aches and pain sensations are prevented.

How many sessions are required?

The number of sessions to be applied is determined according to the target and problem to be achieved on the skin. However, the recommended frequency for those looking for a definitive solution is at least three procedures once a month.

Are there any side effects?

It has no known side effects if it is not exposed to the sun one month before and after the application. The most important thing here will be to protect the skin from the sun; otherwise, unwanted skin spots may occur.

How is it after the application?

After each application, small redness occurs on the skin, but there is nothing to worry about. After these rednesses, which will disappear in 24-48 hours, small crusts are observed. Their duration is a maximum of one week.
